Hands up if you made decluttering the house your new year’s resolution?

Many have been inspired by Marie Kondo’s book and Netflix series, however we’ve found two simple ways to help declutter your home, which may spark some joy.

The year method: Have you worn that piece of clothing or used that household item in the past year? No? Time to donate it to charity. You won’t likely miss it once it’s gone.

The weekly bag method: Start putting items you no longer need in a bag. At the end of each week, donate the usable contents to a charity. Repeat this process for as long as you see fit. It’s amazing how quickly you’ll notice the clutter start to disappear.
